My Story
The genesis of Skin Occasions™ grew out of a genuine interest in skin care, a desire to
provide customers with a distinctive service, and the opportunity to become a business
owner.
A Little About Me
As a California native and graduate of the University of California at Davis, my interests in
Esthetics and professional makeup began growing up in the backdrop of Hollywood
where the casting calls and modeling events brought together actors, models, and
makeup artists for creative synergy. On a personal level, my own skin issues due to Acne
and oily skin inspired me to vigorously research skin care regimes and products to
address my own issues, so out of curiosity and necessity, I became interested in
Esthetics.
Professional Background
Following a cross country move, I made the decision to leave a very successful sales
career and pursue a life long dream of entrepreneurship in Esthetics because of my
passion for skin care and strong belief that I could provide a better all around service
than many of my peers. For Spanish speaking customers feel comfortable knowing I am
fluent in Spanish and have happily serviced many Spanish only customers.
You have my personal and professional assurance that the services rendered will be
done with the highest levels of professional competency (including product knowledge),
the devices/tools used will observe strict cleanliness, and the experience you receive will
be customer focused first and foremost.
I am a dually licensed (Texas and Georgia) practicing Esthetician. In addition, I am a
professional makeup artist, MAC Professional, and a former Houston Galleria-based
Chanel counter manager.
